Skull - Memento Mori - DIY Hand Embroidery Kit

needThis Skull, hand embroidery design is a great beginner's piece. Using just one thread colour and basic stitches that look good even when stitched unevenly, it is a great choice for your first project.   

The design and motto, "Memento Mori" - is a reminder of our mortality and that life should be lived to the fullest. It is inspired by my tattoo obsession and while I'm not the kind of girl who wants a skull tattoo  I'd certainly be happy with a skull embroidered on my jacket, pillow or shopping bag.

1. Myrtle & Dove Skull - Memento Mori pattern - includes a printed, traceable skull  pattern outline in 2 sizes; a guide to stitches and also a stitching order to complete this embroidery design.

2. Myrtle & Dove Hand Embroidery Guidebook - Provides information on how to embroider various stitches.

3. Two fabric options to embroider on:

     i. 30cm x 30 cm White cotton/linen and

     ii. 30cm x 30 cm Grey linen.

4. Stick'n stitch sheet to transfer the pattern onto the grey fabric

5.  3 x DMC embroidery needles.

6.  Embroidery scissors.

7. Full set of DMC No 25 embroidery floss skeins - 3 skeins to complete the project

8. Fabric pouch to store your embroidery while in progress.
